It has been a long break this weekend and I am so glad because it gave me time to finally relax. And now I'm so relaxed that I don't even know what the day is today. Best kan. (I've been reading some chinese blogs, and they spell 'kan' as can. Hrmph.)(Erm, I'm not being racist.)(Or bloggist. I do read indian ones as well, although there are not that many.)(Fine, I've never read an indian blog before.)(I am NOT racist.)
But I have been reading this particular blog for a while now and I absolutely love it! The author talks about his life as a work-home dad, and the perils of being a man: A son, a husband and a father. His kids are so cute. And just recently, he started a blog for his young son's quotes and whatnots. This guy is funny, so automatically whatever he does becomes funny too. Apart from that, he has another blog where he puts up some words from the Quran. Fantastic stuff. I'm not going to reveal his url just yet; I'm keeeping him for myself. *in glee*
My sister Wisma had fun yesterday. She went to the Theme Park with some of her friends, one of them paid for her entry with her hongbao.(She came back home to report that even though it was CNY, her friend still had bad luck because on the way home, she lost her purse which contained $50.) It actually didn't matter if Yang Ran paid for her admission, because she would have gotten in free anyways since Hans has so much vouchers for Downtown East.
He had a family chalet this weekend, but I have refused to go because I am not ready to meet his relatives. I mean, come on! I do not want to be like those girls who meets everybody in the family and be known as 'oh gerlpren rizal'. It's not like I'm going to marry him. It's going to be sooner or later, he says. Meeting them, I suppose, not marrying him. I'm like what...21...marriage is a far-fetched idea for me now. People keep saying oh wini if you get married at 30 you're going to be called an old maid. What an absurd remark; the thinkings of uneducated people I've always thought. Kirakan tak laku lah eh. *sneers* Oh wells.
Oh man, where was I? I got sidetracked. Actually, if I really wanted to speak my mind, I would have long posts everytime. But I suppose no one would bother reading my blog again. Oh no no no, there would be someone who would still bother to read my stories. That *bleeeeeeeeep*. Hahahaha!! (You know Rockson emphasises his laughs like this: hahahahahhahahahha! He should, his punchlines are bloody hilarious.)
I was reading the newspaper two days back and there was this story about a man in the State of Orissa. That's in India, y'all. His mother hadn't eaten or slept properly for weeks because of him. He had an argument with his wife and I guess he was so frustrated that he ran away from home and sought refuge from a.....
Hahahahahaahah! Yes, he has been living in a tree since, and his mother has been coming to that tree to beg her son to come down and return to his home with her. This man ah...!

(I deeply apologise if the picture resembles any of you. Please e-mail me and I will post up a better picture of yourself.)
I have been craving for apple pie since I watched that crap show on Suria called Masak Mamiiiiii...(Sung to the irritating tune of the show.) Yes, I know I am nobody to criticise the chef because she has been hailed as one of the best, but come on! I've seen two of the episodes and I'm like what? *looks around with both hands facing upwards* I watch a lot of cook shows but this has got to be one of the worst. Her previous show was better. I like to watch Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson. They have pretty simple recipes that we can copy. There was this show...erm...Circus Gourmet or what...no, it didn't serve circus food, although it would be pretty interesting if they had a show about that, because I read somewhere that circus freaks people eat a whole lot of vegetables and fruits and well-planned meals. Anyways, yes in that circus show, the french chef would only bake and bake. All kinds of things like bread, cakes and...things that can be bake lah, obviously.
But wini, if you watch a lot of these shows, why can't you still cook? You don't learn anything! Hey...I learn things ok! I learnt how to braid my hair from watching one chef pleat his flour to make bread. I am not joking, I swear to God. There you have it. Something new to learn about me in every post.
I think I have said a lot today. Which reminds me of something. Sari, my youngest sister, came to one night and threw herself at me. (You stupid pervert! It wasn't in that incestous way ok. I mean she literally threw her body on me.) Before I could open my mouth to reprimand her...
Sari: *sighing* Kak, I'm so tired lah!
Me: Why?
Sari: Because so many people want to talk to me. And I think I''ve talked too much today. Wina want to talk to me, Wisma want to talk to me, Wita want to talk to me, Abang want to talk to me, Mama want to talk to me, Papa want to talk to me. And then just now I play teacher-teacher and I talk so much to my students until I was so thirsty! And then my friends called me on the phone and I talk and talk because they also talk and talk. And now I'm also talking to you. *points to mouth* You see you see, I'm still talking to you! My mouth still moving and cannot stop talking. You see you see!
She then proceeds to throw herself on my bed and sighed, "So tired."
